An alumnus of the University of Southern Mississippi, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in history, Jimmy Buffett marked his place in the music industry when he debuted with the 1970 folk-rock album, Down to Earth. Since then, while still quite active in the music scene, he has also dabbled in other business ventures, including starting his very own restaurant chain called Margaritaville Café.

For some time, Buffett was a proud owner of a 1972 Chevrolet El Camino SS. He bought the car in 2013 and enjoyed a couple of trips in it before finally selling it. In 2019, the El Camino found its way to an auction. With the ride initially worth an estimated $28,000, who knows how much it went for by the time the auction ended. After all, besides being a gorgeous vehicle, it was also once owned by a famous musician.
