Credits to Michael Douglas’ ever-trusty assistant, the latter managed to track Catherine Zeta-Jones down and had her date the actor. After seeing the full beauty of the actress in the movie Zorro, the Basic Instinct star was deeply smitten by her looks. He badly wanted to meet her.

He invited her for a drink, which she gladly accepted. As Zeta-Jones still had a news briefing to do that night, she left, but Douglas told her he would wait for her at the hotel bar. Fortunately, the actress returned, and here he told her he would be the father of her kids. Baffled by the confession, Zeta-Jones left, but despite blowing up what could have been a beautiful night, they still ended up with each other. The couple got married in 2000, and yes, she indeed became the mom of his three kids: Cameron, Carys Zeta, and Dylan Michael Douglas.
