Thanks to a mutual friend, Anne Hathaway and Adam Shulman met each other. The two crossed paths at the Palms Springs Film Festival in 2008 and were introduced to one another by their common pal. The actress felt the degree of their connection was beyond palpable; she told this friend that she would marry him.

Hathaway admitted that she acted crazy that night, and Shulman might have noticed how weird she was, but she assumed she was nice. She, too, revealed she was frank with him and knew from the second they met that he was the love of her life. After the now-38-year-old star found out Shulman was single back then, she asked him out and they went on their first date in New Orleans. Now, the duo has been married for nine years and have two kids, Jonathan Rosebanks and Jack Shulman.
