Gordon Ramsay | $220 Million

Gordon Ramsay began working at Wroxton House Hotel in the mid-1980s as a commis chef. Soon after, he ran a kitchen and a 60-seat dining room at the Wickham Arms. The celebrity chef then moved to London and worked in several restaurants before landing a job at Harvey’s, under the infamously temperamental chef Marco Pierre White for two years and 10 months. He then moved to France upon the invitation of Albert Roux and worked there for three years.

Today, Ramsay owns several Michelin-starred restaurants. He has also become a writer, food critic, and TV personality, with shows like Hell’s Kitchen, The F Word, Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares, Gordon Behind Bars, and most recently, Uncharted on the National Geographic Channel. All of this has contributed to the increase of Ramsay’s net worth, which is now at $220 million—not bad for career investment planning.
