American Idol alum Kelly Clarkson met her future husband Brandon Blackstock through his father, who was her manager. She knew that he was in a relationship back in the days which is why she did not think much of him. Things changed when he became single. The two started dating and in 2013, the two got married much to the delight of Clarkson’s fans. The ceremony was intimate befitting the two who were very private about their relationship.

The two were blessed with three children whom they doted on. Blackstock has his own career to look out for, but the two always made it a point to be with their family. However, after seven years of married life, the couple split. They may not have a happy ending as many assumed, but they started out with the sweetest possible situation with Blackstock’s father connecting the two. With Clarkson’s fame, she doesn’t have to worry about paying any mortgage since she can handle them for her children.
