Joe Manganiello and Sofia Vergara had a whirlwind romance right from the start, but it took a while before they became a couple. The first time they met was in a White House Correspondent’s dinner when the actress was still engaged. After her engagement ended, Manganiello reached out to Vergara’s Modern Family co-star, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, to ask for her number. Their first date was about Vergara saying that their relationship will not work out because she was fresh from a breakup.

Fortunately, to his credit, the actor pursued her after their first date, and rumors of romance started circulating. The two got engaged just six months of dating and it felt right between them. They exchanged “I do’s” in 2015. It is not surprising that many will be envious of this good looking couple as they appear very much in love with one another. They have been married for six years now and we’re hoping that they last long.
